AIKEN, S.C. -- "I never would have thought it would have taken off like this. I mean the people we've had come in for the last two months buying tickets -- it's been incredible," said Butch Roberson, the owner of Carolina Outdoors off Whiskey Road.

Roberson says the excitement is boiling over.

"I've had some people call me and ask me to, when they get in town, bring them over for dinner and have them at their house. All kinds of requests," Roberson said.

All because two Cajuns are coming to town. Troy and Jacob Landry, the stars of History Channel's hit show "Swamp People," will sign autographs and take pictures at the USC Aiken Convocation Center this Saturday.

"They seem so down-home and willing to take in anybody in their home," said Hulda Anderson of Troy and Jacob. "It'd be awesome just to meet them."

It doesn't take long for Anderson to name her favorite "Swamp People" personality.

"Probably Troy himself, because he's always 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!' and singing and just seems to love what he does," Anderson said.

She was one of the many visitors to Carolina Outdoors looking for tickets. She picked up a T-shirt and hat but pre-sale tickets are sold out.

"They're going to have some tickets available at the door, a limited number, on Saturday morning," Roberson said. "We heard some people are going to camp out. In fact, some security has been hired to be down there Friday night."

Anderson doubts she and her husband will camp out, but they have their fingers crossed for tickets.

"Oh yeah! That would definitely make my day and my husband's, too," she said.

Roberson says the lack of tickets is actually angering a lot of people. Some people have even cussed out his staff over the phone when they found out.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. Saturday. There's an $8 fee for tickets. Children three and under are free. Of course, it is an outdoor expo, so if you don't want to see the "Swamp People," there are going to be lots of outdoor vendors, too.
