NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.---It was pretty much a full house for the 8th Annual North Augusta Idol Show.

More than two dozen contestants, who are students in grades 2 through 12, took the stage at North Augusta High School's auditorium tonight. The performances ranged from clogging and dancing to singing and playing either guitar, saxophone, piano or violin.

News 12 was told Hammond Hill Elementary student Alice Dyches took home the top prize, she sang 'Memory'.

Tickets for the show were $5 and proceeds went towards the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council's scholarship program.
