Deputy fired over alleged teen beating says he did no wrong

Updated: 08/13/2013 - The wife of the Richmond County Deputy Fired Monday says there are two sides to every story and she wants you to hear her husband's. On August 3rd deputies responded to a call of a possible burglary at the Pine Place Subdivision. Deputies thought 15 year old Kyvan James could be a suspect. Turns out -- no crime was committed -- but the teen ran from deputies -- and ended up in the hospital after being beaten with a flash-light. Monday the Richmond County Sheriff's Office fired 33-year-old Brian McDuffie for excessive force. His wife is speaking out -- and she's talking only to News12.
