Local leader taught one of murdered Hephzibah victims

Updated: 05/22/2013 - The investigation began yesterday when deputies found three bodies in a brush fire in the woods behind Deer Chase Elementary School in Hephzibah. Then, late last night, clues led detectives to a home on nearby Pinnacle Place Drive, where they found another crime scene. Property records indicate the home belonged to Roosevelt and Edna Jones. Family members tell us the couple, and their son, Russell, were the victims of the murder.
