MARTINEZ, Ga. (WRDW) -- A woman is charged with theft of public documents after allegedly taking records dealing with a sinkhole in the Barrington subdivision.
Vanessa Robin Waldron, 53, told other employees about the missing records, according to the incident report.
A Clerk of Court called the Columbia County Sheriff's Office when she heard about the missing documents concerning the sinkhole.
The incident report states the records have to do with who owns and is responsible for the road and its repairs.
Waldron works for a locally-based real estate settlement company.
