Thomson woman accused of stealing ambulance, driving to Augusta hospital

THOMSON, Ga. -- A Thomson woman is accused of stealing an ambulance and driving it to a hospital.
Donna Boykin allegedly took the ambulance from the University Hospital campus in McDuffie County and drove herself over 30 miles to Trinity Hospital in Augusta.
The ambulance was later recovered.
Boykin was returned to McDuffie County and placed under arrest. She is charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
