AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A teen who escaped from the Augusta Youth Development Campus last year has now learned his fate.
Wayne Johnson, 19, was sentenced to two years in prison followed by 10 years on probation.
Johnson pleaded guilty to escape and theft and no contest to his other charges, which include reckless driving and driving without a license.
He was one of five teens who escaped from the YDC in November 2012 and stole a car, leading police on a multi-city chase. All five were eventually returned into custody.
