Teen accused of bringing handgun inside school to appear in court

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- The teen accused of bringing a gun into Hephzibah High School will go before a judge on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old, who is accused of having a loaded .22-caliber pistol in his book bag, will appear in Juvenile Court.

Investigators say that he did not threaten anyone and claimed he had not been threatened.

The student is facing a felony charge of having a weapon on school property.
