AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A Fort Gordon soldier has been arrested for threatening to kill his wife.
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office said the soldier's wife set up a fake email account posing as another woman and the two emailed each other back and forth.
She suggested in one of their conversations that "you could just kill her off and get it over with lol" about his wife.
The man, Joshua Broomhall, continued the conversation, talking about how he would kill his wife and they could run off together.
Broomhall has been charged with terroristic threats and acts.
