Shots fired nearby during football practice at Jenkins Co. High School

JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. -- Jenkins County High School football players were practicing after school Wednesday when two shots were fired nearby.

Authorities tell News 12 two shots were fired in a neighborhood and came across the field during practice.

Investigators are not sure if the shots were meant for players or not, but no one was injured.

There are no suspects at this time.
