Search is on for Sprint Food Stores robber

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. -- An armed robber is on the loose after holding a clerk at gunpoint at Sprint Food Stores on the 3000 block of Deans Bridge Road.
The robber came in, acted like he was purchasing Gummi Bears and then held up his firearm, demanding money from the clerk a little past midnight on June 23. He then fled the scene with the cash.
He is considered to be armed and dangerous but has not been identified at this time. You can find pictures of the suspect attached to this story in a slideshow.
Anyone with any information can call the Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1080. Ask to speak to a Violent Crimes investigator. All information will be kept confidential.
