NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- The North Augusta Department of Public Safety is looking for the person or people who they say stole power tools from contractors' cars in the Lowe's parking lot.

The two thefts happened on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15.

Investigators say a white jeep was seen casing the area around the times of the thefts.

The thieves are said to have waited for contractors to park their cars and then stole the tools once the contractors went inside the store.
