AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- One of the men accused in the beating at the Riverwalk has been denied bond for multiple reasons.

Kevin Richardson had his bond denied Friday morning because he is being called a flight risk, a threat to the victims and the community and a threat to commit more felonies.

He is charged with two counts of robbery by force and two counts of aggravated assault.

Richardson was arrested in Indiana. Deputies say Richardson and Robey Moses robbed and attacked Wesley Spires and Ashley Solesbee earlier this month. Moses was arrested in Newberry County a week after the attack happened.

Spires is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. News 12 has learned he is awake and now has movement on both sides of his body.
