News 12 is learning more information about a shooting that broke out at First Friday in Augusta.

AUGUSTA -- News 12 is learning more information about a shooting that broke out after First Friday in Downtown Augusta.

It happened on Broad Street near 9th Street just after 11pm.

Richmond County deputies say one large male group started shooting at another. At this time, we are told there is no indication that it was at any particular person. No word if this is gang related.

The 6 people shot and injured were 22-year-old Devon Rodriguez Bullard, 21-year-old Kendrick Eubanks McDaniels, 22-year-old Candace Lofland, 14-year-old Brittany Le-Ann Moore, 16-year-old Michaela Hatcher, and 17-year old Jenea Myquise Simmons. All shooting victims have wounds to lower extremities.

They were able to locate a gun, however, they have not confirmed if this is the weapon used in the incident.
