Richmond Co. deputies searching for shooter after dispute on Richmond Hill Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- News 12 has learned deputies are searching for a man who shot another man in the leg after he tried to evict him from his home.
Richmond County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Richmond Hill Road early Saturday morning.
Deputies say the shooter was having problems with some of the people that had been living at the house on Richmond Hill Road. They say three people had been living at the house for about a month. According to investigators, the shooter did not live there.
Neither the shooter nor the victim has been identified, but deputies say the victim's injuries are not life threatening. Investigators say the victim was shot in his shin.
