Residents held at gunpoint during home invasion in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Investigators are looking for three men who broke into a home in Augusta around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The Sheriff's Office says the men forced their way through the front door of the home on Cheryl Drive. The residents said they were held at gunpoint by one of the men while the other two ransacked the home.

A child, mother and grandmother were home during the break-in. No one was injured during the incident.

Investigators say all three men were armed with handguns.

The first suspect is a black male, approximately 5'8" and 150 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and khaki shorts with a white T-shirt over his face.

The second suspect is a black male with a large frame, who was wearing black shorts, a khaki button-up shirt and a white shirt around his face.

The third suspect is a black male male, approximately 5'9" and 160 pounds. He was wearing a turquoise polo shirt with white stripes, blue jean shorts, blue and white tennis shoes and a white T-shirt around his face.

The men were last seen leaving the home in a gold Dodge Stratus with tinted windows.
