Person shot in rear end on Wrightsboro Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A man is in the hospital after being shot in the rear end.
Deputies say it happened on the 1400 block of Wrightsboro Road a little before 1 p.m. on Sunday.
That's when the suspect, who they describe as a black male with long dreadlocks only known as Randy, hopped on a pink and white bike and fled the scene.
Officers chased him for several blocks, but he eventually got away.
Deputies say the incident happened over drugs.
