UPDATE: Search is on for 2 suspects after shooting in downtown Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Investigators are looking for two men involved in a shooting that happened on the 1900 block of Pearl Avenue just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Nethaniel Dennis, 18, was found lying in a field on his stomach with a gunshot wound in his groin/hip area.

Dennis was taken to the hospital and admitted for surgery. His condition is unknown at this time.

The first suspect, who goes by "Doobie," is a black male in his mid-20s with a low-top haircut. He was wearing a black/red/white shirt with jeans.

The second suspect is a black male and is approximately 22 years old. He was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

The two suspects are said to have left the scene in a four-door gold Acura heading toward Broad Street.
