10. Only on 12: Father of murder victim says daughter 'fell in love with the wrong person'
The murder of a pregnant Richmond County woman in January sent shockwaves throughout the CSRA. The man accused of killing Cayce Ray Vice, then-boyfriend Joshua Jones, allegedly went on to kill Public Safety Officer Sandy Rogers in the same day. Click here to read more.

8. Grovetown Middle School student dead after Halloween night shooting
Halloween night turned deadly for a group of young teenagers in Grovetown. They told investigators they were celebrating the holiday when somehow a shotgun accidentally went off. Click here to read more.

5. Couple allegedly arguing about life insurance policy before murder-suicide
Emanuel Jordan shot and killed his wife, Tia Jordan, on Jan. 5 before turning the gun on himself. Click here to read more.

4. Cause of death released for 23-year-old found in Savannah River
A 23-year-old woman dies after deputies say she fell from train trestles into the Savannah River on July 21. This was just down the river from where the Augusta Southern Nationals boat races were to begin hours later. Click here to read more.

2. 85-year-old man arrested in fatal hospital room shooting
The victim, 57-year-old Tim Grooms, was shot at least two times and died immediately in a hospital room at University Hospital. The suspect is 85-year-old Charles William Gorrell of Aiken. Click here to read more.

1. Deputies: Shots fired at Augusta Waffle House stemmed from Facebook
Shots were fired outside the Waffle House on Wrightsboro Road near Marks Church Road on April 6. Deputies responded and found two groups of females involved. Click here to read more.
