Blackville authorities searching for suspect in deadly shooting

BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- The Blackville Police Department is looking for a suspect after a deadly shooting on Saturday night.
In a release, authorities say Ronnie Thomas was found lying on the sidewalk on Bellinger Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday with gunshot wounds. Thomas was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Investigators discovered Thomas has been involved in a physical altercation earlier that night when an unknown man shot him.
The case has been turned over to SLED and is currently under investigation.
