UPDATE: 1 dead after brawl in nightclub parking lot

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- One man is dead after allegedly getting into a fight outside an Augusta club last week.
Phillip Boynton, 28, died Monday night of a traumatic brain injury at GRU Medical Center.
It all happened the morning of Sunday, March 10. Witnesses say Boynton was escorted out of Pure Platinum on Gordon Highway after arguing with other club guests and acting intoxicated. After that, Boynton allegedly tried starting a fight with another club patron in the parking lot.
Boynton was later taken to the hospital with a head injury.
