Friday, Oct. 19, 2012

AUGUSTA, Ga.-- One man is learning his sentence for claims that he molested a young boy in Augusta.

Daniel Jay Boos is accused of molesting a boy under the age of 16 between January and June 2010.

It happened at a home on Circular Drive and the Barnyard Flea market on Doug Barnyard Parkway.

Boos was sentenced to life and 20 years in prison Thursday after a jury convicted him on four counts of aggravated child molestation and counts of child molestation.

The four-day trial included evidence of a 1991 conviction for aggravated child molestation while Boos was serving in Germany as an Army Specialist.
