COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- The man driving the other car in a fatal accident that killed a groom on his wedding day is facing charges.
Torvory Curry wasn't at fault in the accident, but charges against him include driving with a suspended license and an open container charge.
Brian Orzechowski, 35, died after deputies say he veered slightly into the other lane, hitting Curry's car.
Officers say his passenger and new bride, 34-year-old Crystal Lynn Krentler Orzechowski, was airlifted to the hospital. She remains in critical condition.
The couple was leaving their wedding reception at the time.
Officers say it happened on Highway 104 just west of Wildwood Park in Appling.
