Friday, Dec. 7, 2012

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The man accused of hitting and killing two Augusta teens is behind bars over a year and a half after the accident.

William Anthony Shores, 22, was arrested Thursday on a grand jury arrest warrant.

Shores was indicted on two charges of second-degree homicide by vehicle back in October.

He is accused of killing 17-year-old Michael Perry and 13-year-old Sarah Riffe in March of 2011 on McCombs Road.

Investigators say Shores was speeding at the time of the accident.
