AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The man accused in a fatal hit-and-run has been denied bond.

Christopher Provost, 35, is charged with felony hit-and-run and felony vehicular homicide.

On Friday morning, the superior court judge called Provost a flight risk, denying him bond.

Provost is accused of killing 42-year-old Dennis John Skillman on Mike Padgett Highway on May 17. Deputies say Skillman was riding his bike to work and wearing a reflective vest like he usually did during his commute.
