AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County investigators are trying a new way to solve a murder case from January.

The billboard has a picture of the murder victim, 18-year-old Kyle Royal, along with a picture of the Hi-Point .45 carbine they believe killed him.

The billboards are up on Deans Bridge Road just south of Bobby Jones Expressway, 15th Street at Broad Street and Peach Orchard Road just north of Harold Road.

Royal was found dead in the backseat of a car back in January. Deputies say they believe Royal was shot while leaving Magic City, a teen nightclub.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Royal's killer.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1080.
