Husband, wife arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office arrested a husband and wife after finding drugs during a traffic stop.

Steven Gebhart, 31, and Roxann Gebhart, 39, were arrested after deputies say they found illegal drugs inside their car. Investigators then went to search their home on Windsor Spring Road and found more illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

Mrs. Gebhart allegedly had a bag of methadone on her at the time of her arrest and has been charged with felony possession of methadone. Gebhart worked as a nurse through Correct Care Solutions at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

Mr. Gebhart is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methadone, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, selling of oxycodone, selling of marijuana and four counts selling of methamphetamines. All are felony charges.
