Hephzibah man in critical condition after allegedly being shot by fiancee

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- A woman is in custody, accused of shooting her fiance in the chest.

The shooting happened on the 4400 block of Forest Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Steven Ouzts, 51, was airlifted to the hospital and is in critical condition.

His fiancee, 29-year-old Amanda Neeley, is in custody for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime under the Family Violence Act.
