COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- A driver is now facing charges in the crash that killed a Martinez teen.
News 12 has learned Lucky Wade Jackson turned himself in Wednesday morning for the deadly wreck involving Jordan White. The Sheriff's Office has charged him homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, not wearing a seat belt and running a red light.
The crash happened last week. Investigators say White was turning left onto Washington Road from Ronald Reagan Drive when Jackson is accused of running a red light and slamming into her.
A Gold Cross helicopter took White to the hospital where she later died.
