UPDATE: Deputies searching for robber after holdup at Columbia Co. store

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- Deputies are investigating an armed robbery after a holdup at the TPS Gas Station on Tuesday.
The robbery happened at the intersection of Washington Road and William Few Parkway in Columbia County.
Witnesses told deputies a man pointed a gun at the clerk and took some money and cigarettes before running off.
The suspect is said to be a white male with brown hair who is approximately 5'10" to 5'11". He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a black scarf over his face, white or gray pants, white and black shoes and was carrying a blue sack.
Columbia County dispatch says no injuries were reported.
