AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Deputies are looking for a man accused of abusing his 6-year-old daughter.

When Richmond County deputies arrived at the apartment on Wylds Road Monday night, the child's mother told them that her boyfriend, George Pacheco, had abused their daughter after she received a disciplinary report from school.

Deputies say the child had visible redness and swelling on her face, neck, head and back.

Pacheco, 23, is wanted for first-degree cruelty to children. He is described as a black male who is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 to 200 pounds.

Pacheco has been arrested before on charges that fall under the Family Violence Act and numerous traffic offenses.

If you have any information, call the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080 or notify the Criminal Investigation Division at (706) 821-1020.
