AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Arrests have been made in one of the two home invasions in Richmond County on Tuesday night.
Three people were arrested after a home invasion turned burglary on the 400 block of Stevens Creek Court around 10:30 p.m.
The victims said one white male and one black male armed with handguns came into their apartment and took money, cellphones and jewelry before leaving the scene.
Investigators later arrested 20-year-old Harrison Grant Lee, 19-year-old Dy'shon Vadolle Taylor and 24-year-old Michael Vertron Smith.
Lee is charged with felony armed robbery, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Taylor is charged with felony armed robbery, felony first-degree burglary and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Smith is charged with felony armed robbery and felony first-degree burglary.
No arrests have been made in the Roberson Road home invasion at this time.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County deputies are investigating multiple home invasions that happened around midnight on Wednesday.
One was on the 1900 block of Roberson Road and the other was on the 400 block of Stevens Creek Court.
Deputies were called to the home on Roberson Road after a 911 hangup. When they got there, they met with the homeowner, who said that two white males kicked in the front door to his home. One of the men was armed with a silver handgun with a white handle.
The men demanded money and threatened to shoot the victim but did not get any money and took some of the victim's medication. They were last seen running west on Roberson Road.
The robbers are said to be white males between 18 to 24 years old and were wearing camouflaged jumpsuits and ski masks. They are between 5'7" and 5'9" and 140 to 150 pounds.
The second home invasion happened on the 400 block of Stevens Creek Court. Details are limited on this home invasion at this time.
