UPDATE: 2 facing DUI charges in Washington Road accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County deputies say two people are being charged with driving under the influence after an accident on Washington Road around 2:45 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies say a black Explorer and a white Chevrolet Yukon collided after the Chevrolet driver attempted to make a left turn from Center West Pkwy onto Washington Road.
The Chevrolet overturned in the accident.
Deputies say the driver was pulled out safely but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
