MCDUFFIE COUNTY, Ga. -- A man now knows his fate for his role in the December 2010 killing of a father of two.
Dexter Jones was sentenced to life for the murder of Kenny Johnson on Friday.
Jones also got 10 years for armed robbery and five years for a weapons charge. The murder and armed robbery sentences will be served together and he will serve the weapons charge after that.
Jones was sentenced for killing 24-year-old Kenny Johnson. Investigators said it was a drug deal gone wrong.
Two other suspects were also arrested. They agreed to testify for the prosecution during Jones' trial.
