Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- A City of Augusta employee is accused of inappropriately touching a teenage girl in November.

The victim said she woke up to Brett Langham groping her below the waist.

Langham is facing charges for aggravated sexual battery and child molestation in Columbia County.

He is the Commission District 5 representative for the Richmond County Republican Party.

News 12 interviewed Langham last year when his neighborhood was underwater. He was asking Augusta commissioners to step up and pay for his home.

Langham also blew the whistle on time card fraud involving the Richmond County Utilities Department in 2010.
