WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW) -- Waynesboro Police Department and the GBI are investigating the death of Mary Lee Crumbley, City Manager Jerry Coalson said.

Crumbley's body was found near Top Quality junk yard near 11th Street. Coalson said the death is not being called a homicide at this point.

An autopsy will be performed on the 53-year-old.

The coroner confirms her sister, Linda Crumbley, was shot and killed in April.

The suspect in that shooting, Steve Lawrence Allen, was in custody as of April. Allen is accused of killing Linda Crumbley and injuring her two children.

Allen was charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and a weapons charge.
