Augusta mother pleads not guilty in drowning death of son

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A woman accused in the drowning death of her son pleaded not guilty in court on Friday.
Lisa Stocker was joined by her family in court. Stocker is facing one count of felony murder for the death of her 2-year-old son Daniel Stocker.
Daniel was found at the bottom of a backyard pool on the 3000 block of Creighton Place back in March.
Neighbors said they last saw Daniel in the yard by himself in the morning pushing a red wagon.
Stocker previously admitted to investigators that she fell asleep and did not realize he was missing until a neighbor told her the family dog was running loose in the neighborhood.
Deputies, firefighters and divers searched the neighborhood for hours until they found Daniel in the pool.
