AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A special operation has ended with a wanted man in handcuffs.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says investigators and members of the ATF RAGE unit were able to locate and arrest 18-year old Trelon O'Neal Baker.

Baker is in jail facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during a crime and simple battery.

Investigators say Baker shot a man on the 3000 block of Richmond Hill Road on Saturday. The simple battery charge comes from an assault on a 14-year-old female on the same day. The alleged attack happened on the 1700 block of Cornell Drive.
