AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has arrested 16 suspects so far during a drug sweep.

Investigators are targeting 31 people in connection to the sweep, which started last week.

The Sheriff's Office says the sweep is targeting buyers and lower-level drug dealers and that they don't expect the arrests to lead to those higher up in the chain of command.

The following suspects have been arrested:
