COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- A man is in jail, charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and cruelty to children after an incident Wednesday night.
Deputies say George Scott Dillard went to the home of his ex-girlfriend on Ridge Crossing and that he punched and kicked the woman into unconsciousness several times and threatened to kill her.
The woman's 4-year-old and 2-year-old sons were home during the incident.
