Investigators looking into armed robbery at H&S Wine and Spirits

Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2013

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County investigators are looking into an armed robbery that happened late Wednesday night.

The robbery at the H&S Wine and Spirits on the 3100 block of Wrightsboro Road around 10:35 p.m.

When deputies arrived on scene, they spoke with a clerk who told them an unknown black male entered the store and produced what appeared to be an unknown make and model handgun.

The clerk told deputies the suspect demanded cash and then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
