CLEARWATER, S.C. -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating two armed robberies that happened only minutes apart.
Dispatch says the first happened at the Four Seasons convenience store at the intersection of Pine Log Road and Storm Branch Road in Beech Island. The next happened at the Wawa Express on Jefferson Davis Highway across from the Midland Valley Shopping Center.
Deputies are on the lookout for a white male wearing a navy blue pullover jacket. Dispatch says he was also wearing a black ski mask and possibly driving a blue sedan.
The Sheriff's Office says the same man is responsible for both robberies. The North Augusta Department of Public Safety and other law enforcement agencies have been told to be on the lookout, as the suspect may attempt other holdups.
