AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Just off the beaten path, down a long dirt road, hides a house.
"We don't talk to people back there," said Kristain Schultz, who lives near Frank Muns.
And deputies say that house has been hiding a suspect until now.
"We got a dude that's running around, and we don't know where he's at," she said.
Neighbors want to know because deputies say Muns is dangerous.
Earlier this month, they say he shot his ex-wife twice.
"We have kids here, you know, that like stay here, live here and play around in this yard, so it was kind of scary," she told News 12.
Schultz lives not even 100 feet from where deputies believe Muns has been living.
"We were all outside playing, having a good time, and the cops just started showing up," she said.
A tip led deputies here today and suddenly Schultz found herself in the middle of it all.
"We told him it was over there, and they just went over there, and I saw dude run out the back door," Schultz said.
She didn't even know Muns was wanted and neither did her sisters.
They say they've seen him come and go, but they had no idea he's accused of violence.
His ex-wife told News 12 he had no idea he was violent, either.
She didn't want to go on camera but sent me a text message that stated, "I don't know the man that shot me while looking me straight in my eyes."
In the meantime, neighbors say they'll keep their eyes peeled in case he shows up again.
"Oh, he will be back, he will be back, and I will be giving the police a call," Schultz said.
