AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- The Aiken Department of Public Safety needs your help in identifying the man in this picture, who they say could have information about a recent car theft.

The car was stolen while the victim was inside of a convenience store on York Street Monday night. The victim followed the car thief in another vehicle until the thief crashed it and left the scene on foot. The thief, who has not been identified, is described as a white male between 25 to 35 years old.

If you have any information, call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372). Callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
