Teen charged with possession of explosives

COLUMBIA CTY, Ga.---Explosives found in the woods in Columbia County have been traced back to a 16-year-old.

The boy told investigators he discovered several canisters of explosives, marked TNT.

Now he's facing charges of possession of explosive material.

Officers know the TNT is military, but are still working to track down its origin.

The boy is being held at the Youth Detention Center without bond.
