Trooper pleads guilty to sexual misconduct

September 11, 2007

A former South Carolina trooper is on the other side of the law after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct.

A judge has sentenced T.A. D'Alesandro to two years of probation for forcing a woman to have sex with him in his patrol car in 2002.

Authorities say the former trooper arrested the woman in Orangeburg County on suspicion of driving under suspicion, then took her to a secluded area, threatened her, and had sex with her.
