Two arrested in connection to Computer Exchange burglary

AUGUSTA---Two men were arrested in connection to the Computer Exchange burglary from early last month.

According to investigators, Gerry McNeil Haynes and Earnest Marquette Harris burglarized the Computer Exchange on Peach Orchard Road. Surveillance video showed a burgundy car backed into the doors, then two men walking in and taking a Dell computer system and three large monitors.

Haynes and Harris are in the Richmond County Jail. Hayes is charged with two counts of burglary and Harris with one count of burglary. Additional charges may be forthcoming.

    if you are going to do something like this at least get enough out of it to pay the lawyer. i doubt he will defend these fools for a new monitor.

    Thats one smash and dash that didn't compute. I have doubts these robbers would know how to use a computer anyway.
