Woman on way to Augusta arrested for drugs

TALIAFERRO CTY, Ga.---Taliaferro County Sheriff Mark Richards says deputies found 7 kilos of cocaine and 20 pounds of marijuana--$800,000 worth of drugs--in a car driven by Dana Smith.

Officers say she was headed for Augusta when she was pulled over for failure to maintain her lane.

    Based on my previous observations of busts from here to Panama, crime may go up here temporarily in reaction to the interrupted flow of drugs. Some dealers and customers both are going to be in dire straits and in a foul mood. Good citizens, please be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. No telling what desperate people will do. Concerned citizen.
