AIKEN CTY, S.C. -- Aiken County investigators are at a location on Joann Drive for a drug bust. Joann Drive is just off Reynolds Pond Road.
A search warrant was executed on two homes, one on Joann Drive and one on Reynolds Pond Road. The warrants were issued after a five month narcotics investigation.
Investigators found marijuana and crack cocaine and four people have been arrested. In addition to the drugs, investigators found a pistol and three rifles that were also seized.
George Glover, Steven Durbin, John Williams and Damion Gleaton have all been arrested on various drug charges and are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
Sheriff Michael Hunt stated, "The Aiken County Sheriff's Office takes a zero tolerance stance on the use of or selling of illegal narcotics in Aiken County, and as a result in a coordinated multi agency effort, Narcotics Investigators were able to address a high drug traffic area in Aiken".
The investigation involved the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, Aiken Department of Public Safety, Edgefield County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
