AUGUSTA, Ga.---Richmond County deputies have identified two men they say broke into the F.A.M.E. store on the 3000 block of Wrightsboro Road this morning around 4 o'clock. Deputies are looking for Jordash Tanksley and his father, Clarence Tanksley.
A third man, Derrell McNair, is currently at University Hospital recovering from a gunshot wound he received during the attempted burglary. The store owner told deputies he was sleeping in the store to prevent another break-in, and that he fired back when fired upon by one of the burglars.
McNair was shot in the right side. The store owner states that another man grabbed an armful of clothing off a rack and ran outside, then the two men fled the scene in a gray vehicle.
McNair has been charged as an adult with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
Jordash Tanksley and Clarence Tanksley are both charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, and burglary.
Deputies say Jordash Tanksley has been on the run for several weeks and is still wanted for questioning in connection to the shooting at Super C night club and wanted on other outstanding felony warrants.
Both Tanksleys are considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information, you're asked to call the sheriff's office at (706) 821-1020 during the day or (706) 821-1080 on nights and weekends.
